Evening With An Author

Join the Friends of the Library Group in welcoming author Lynn Holden for an Evening With An Author! Lynn travelled across Canada to visit the Canadian World Heritage Centres and with her photography skills, photographed and documented her travels and wrote her own book to share her love of Canada and exploration.

October is Canadian Library Month, and each year, Ontario sets aside one week to celebrate public libraries, their services, resources and programming. This year, we have a very exciting lineup! Swing by the Library to take part in the Jellybean Jar Challenge all week long!

We are a voluntary, non-profit organization established to promote, enhance and extend the programs, services and facilities of our Library.


Armour, Ryerson & Burk's Falls Agricultural Society

The Society held its first fall fair in a log schoolhouse which also doubled as a church and meeting hall, located on High Street, Burk's Falls, October 1881. Since then, they have been continuing to host annual fall fairs at the Burk's Falls Fair Grounds, with fun activities and contests!


Burk's Falls & District Historical Society

The Village of Burk's Falls and the Townships of Armour and Ryerson are recognized as communities with a deep heritage connection and are proud of the historical attractions that draws visitors from the region and beyond.


The Burk's Falls Art and Crafts Club Arts Centre

The Arts Centre is a gallery showcasing the art of members of the Burk's Falls Art and Crafts Club. We have worked with the Arts Centre through our junior program, The Artists Library resulting in beautiful works of art from our young patrons!
