Codecademy
Codecademy is an American online interactive platform that offers free coding classes in 12 different programming languages including Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, C++, C#, and Swift, as well as markup languages HTML and CSS. This is a fantastic resource for beginners, but also great for experienced coders to improve their skills!
Scratch
Scratch is the world's largest coding community for children (but great for beginner coders too!) and a coding language with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills, creative teaching and learning, self expression, collaboration and equity in computing.
Storyline Online
Reading aloud to children has been shown to improve reading, writing and communication skills, logical thinking and concentration, and general academic aptitude, as well as inspire a lifelong love of reading. Teachers use Storyline Online in their classrooms, doctors and nurses play Storyline Online in children’s hospitals, and now, you play them too!

The LEARN program connects adult learners with literacy programs in their community based on their needs. Organizations from every province and territory are listed in the LEARN database. Users can search for programming in the areas of ESL, workplace skills training, high school equivalency preparation and family literacy, among others.
